TRACE FOSSILS ENG
Fossils do not include only animal or plant tissues. Oftentimes, there are also traces of their activity. These include for instance footprints, tunnels, traces of biting on wood, or coprolites (fossilized faeces). Such fossils are called trace fossils, and they are an important part of the paleontological record because they tell us how a particular animal moved, what it ate, where it burrowed, etc. However, when finding a trace fossil, we frequently do not know what animal left the trace. Can you match the traces and their creators? Match trace castings to the animals that could have created them. Application marks a correct match.
